Well, one year on and this mode is now available. Fantastic job... Casual Mode is now available and invites us to play with friends online.
Only if you do, the system goes ahead and blocks you like before! Doh.
The violations in the attached screenshot can't relate to anything else as I haven't played the original Ranked version of the game, not even once.

In an email discussion with SMG studios I was told that one of the features that would be upcoming is a Casual Mode where you can play with friends in an unranked environment. I have a lot of friends I've accumulated and with the current setup for Global Domination, it is impossible to see when I am playing a friend before playing. And hard to avoid it at times. We could really use this unranked casual mode where we have a place to play friends without fear of being banned.
