I'm sick and tired of playing games where other players are obviously ganging up on another player of a specific rank, solely to boost their own rank level. I've seen it on both ends - intermediates ganging up on grandmasters or experts ganging up on novice players. Completely understand everyone wants to level up, but collaboration is a form of cheating and I'd much rather play a strategy game versus conducting psych assessments of my competition during each game. I tend to get bored when playing Chess or on the single-player mode, which is what I typically end up doing when I'm fed up with cheaters. Think by fogging rank levels as an option would help weed out some of the collaboration cheating that's been going on.
