Ok I've been a lifelong board player and understand the strategic nature of alliances. Yet have never seen when down to three players, excessive tag teaming of such a magnitude that two players consistently attack the remaining player to defeat them at the expense of weakenening themselves. By excessive tag teaming, I'm talking 3,4 rounds of consistent attacking on a player with the express purpose of getting them out, while playing irrationally. Ok this is a fine line w alliances but 3 handed, why have alliances that go too far?
There is something in Mathematics called "Nash Equillibrium" whereby optimal play arises when no single rational player acts to put themself at a disadvantage. I wish the game designers could find a way to limit excessive tag teaming so as not to spoil the enjoyment of the game.
