In preferences let folks choose their default color selection and then map players to all other colors. Several players could theoretically be the same default color, but on their device the other players would be a different color so would be good.
Currently I go through this craziness of starting a multiplayer game, deleting the other 3 players, add a bot, change my color until I get to blue (I always default red) and when I'm there I delete the bots and then add in human players. UGH!!
At least make a shake option for iPhones like you have with the Apple TV remote to change player color, but ideally a default color preference would make it lovely for frequent players.
