Simple -- fog of war. A player is only able to see his/her own color. All other players appear the same color, you only see their number of troops. This game is currently unplayable because most all game hosts are cheating (multiple phones -- every household has at least two).
This should be an option for the GUEST to enable. Host games that don't allow fog of war (cheaters) are then ignored/not displayed as an available game.

Players need to be able to identify which territories are controlled by which opponent in order to eliminate them. Also in spite of playing hundreds of games I still am not sure I've ever run into a player with two or more accounts in the same game.
