What is considered a Bad Name

As part of keeping RISK family-friendly, inclusive & for all ages, we do not allow names that are:

• Political (politician name or slogan etc)
• Religious (religious figure or language etc)
• Explicit or Sexual (swearing, NSFW, or innuendo etc)
• Recent, Ongoing or Past conflicts (ongoing wars, past wars etc)
• Hate Speech (targeted language based on race, orientation etc)
• Impersonation (claiming to be someone else, like a public figure, an SMG Studio employee, etc)
• Narcotics (legal or otherwise, references to these are not permitted)
• Illegal Content (anything that may be illegal will be blocked, in extreme cases law enforcement may be notified)
• Abuse (anything promoting violence towards others)

What happens when a Bad Name is identified

• You cannot use this name in RISK anymore
• You may be blocked from using ANY social names
• You may receive a Warning in-app through the "Message from an Administrator" tool
• We reserve the right to suspend and/or ban players using a Bad Name.

Can I appeal a block/restriction on my name

Yes, you can appeal via support ticket @ https://smgstudio.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

If your name contained something deemed extreme, your appeal may be denied.

If this is not your first bad name appealed, your appeal may be denied.

Your appeal is not guaranteed to be successful even if it was not either of the above.

My name was blocked but does not fall under the list of names above

We recommend appealing in such cases. 

Some of our username filters might flag/block names that are OK in rare cases - we'll provide steps on what you can do when you appeal.
