Secret Missions is a RISK game mode where each player is assigned a hidden objective at the start of the match. Instead of trying to conquer the whole map, your goal is to complete your mission before anyone else. The first player to achieve their mission wins the game.


How do I play Secret Missions?

You can find Secret Missions in the Modes and Modifiers screen when creating a game, or by joining another player’s Secret Missions lobby. 
*Secret Missions is currently not available to play in ranked.* 

  1. At the start of the game, you are assigned a Secret Mission.
  2. Your mission is hidden from the other players
  3. Each player has their own mission to complete.
  4. The first player to complete their mission wins the game.



Tips for winning

  • Keep your mission hidden: If other players figure out your objective, they may try and stop you.

  • Watch what others are doing: Sudden attacks or continent pressure can reveal what another player is trying to achieve.

  • Keep checking your mission: Your win condition is different from everyone else’s, so plan every turn around that objective.

  • Balance attacking with defence: Chasing your mission too aggressively can leave you exposed.

  • Adapt as the game develops: Secret Missions rewards flexible play. The best move is not always the most aggressive one.
