Issue Description
Currently, we are seeing a bug in SP!NG that prevents it from being opened on iPad and iPhone devices running iOS 13. On affected devices, the game will crash shortly after opening and before reaching the main menu.
Does this issue affect me?
So far, we've seen this issue reproduce on all devices running iOS 13. You can find your device version using the following steps:
- Open Settings on your device
- Navigate to General > About
- In the field labelled "Software Version", note the number displayed.
If the software version begins with a "13" (for example, "13.5.1" or "13.0") then your device is affected by this issue.
Steps to resolve the issue
Currently, there is no known workaround for allowing SP!NG to run on iOS 13 devices. Therefore, we can only recommend updating your device to iOS 14 or above in order to solve the issue while we work on a fix. You can do so via the steps below:
- Open Settings on your device
- Navigate to General > Software Update
- Wait for the update to load
- Select "Download and Install" once the option appears
