Part of the strategy is who goes first. It touches last placement, starting allocations, and, of course, very simply will you be offense or defense and for how long. It also touches capital selection.
I love the new layout with blizzards and fog on the side of the map. Perhaps a similar icon for 1st pick, first capital, and first to attack?
It may be obvious to some, but with 60 second turn games and maps with different number of territories (etc. etc.) it would be nice to be commander with all the facts on the ground (except fog of war).
